It was limited only to iPhone and iPad users all these years. With this feature, users will be allowed to authorize payments on the Google Play using the fingerprint sensor. Google which has recently released its latest version of OS, Android 6.0 Marshmallow, comes with support for the fingerprint reader. The Google Nexus 5X and the Nexus 6P feature the Nexus Imprint sensor.This new Google Play feature has been first noticed by Android Police and it is oddly disabled by default. Android users willing to experience this new feature have to head over to the Google Play app settings and enable the option from under the User Controls section.

You'll need to place your finger on the sensor, then lift it, and put it back a few times during the registration process. Be sure to slightly adjust its positioning in order for the sensor to map out as much of your fingerprint as possible.

Once you're done, you can either add another or close settings. The next time you want to unlock your phone, you only need to place your finger on the sensor.As previously mentioned, only the LG Nexus 5X and the Huawei Nexus 6P support this functionality for now, but any future device that launches with Android 6.0 Marshmallow on board and has a fingerprint reader should support fingerprint authentication for Play Store purchases.

- Select Nexus Imprint.
- Tap on Add fingerprint.
